CHILDREN
Children 04 to 12 years are charged 50% of the applicable rate and infant below 03 years old are charged 10% of the applicable rate provided they do not occupy separate beds. Age is taken as at the commencement of journey.
CHILD DIVER
Any children who are certified divers will have to pay FULL Diver rates regardless of their age & parents are to be held responsible for their child at all times.
GROUP INCENTIVE
- Minimum 10 paying guests + 1 FOC.
- For every FOC applies, RM 350.00 per person for Domestic market and USD 100 per person for international market shall applies for the logistic charges. The FOC only start at SWV Resort covering the accommodation, meal and beverages provided during meal times, diving and snorkeling.
- FOC benefit does not cover Sipadan Entry Fee to Sipadan Island, carbonated and alcoholic drinks and any other services outside of the SWV package.
STANDARD PACKAGE
Part 1:
The package starts from Tawau inclusive of the following services:
- Airport meeting services in Tawau (0600 hrs – 1800 hrs)
- Return land transfer from Tawau to Semporna (around 75 minutes)
- Return speedboat transfer from Semporna to Mabul Island (around 45 minutes)
- Twin share water cottage accommodation with sundeck at balcony
- Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner (Depends on arrival and departure day)
NOTE:
- It would not be possible for us to do transfer directly to the resort on the same day if the arrival is late as it would be dark for the boat transfer and is not advisable for safety reason.
Please book arrival flight to arrive Tawau Airport before 1400hrs for same-day check in at SWV Resort, Mabul.
- Night transfer charges will be applied after 1800hrs for the transfer from Tawau Airport to any respective hotel (either in Tawau or Semporna Hotel).
- Catching the earliest flight from the resort would also not possible as it would be still dark.
- SWV will not obligate or compensate for waiting too long in the airport or flight delay.
However, our side will be assist the guests shall they need any assistance from us.
- Complimentary transfer from Tawau/Airport to Semporna ONLY on resort’s check-in day.
SIPADAN PERMIT
Entering Sipadan Island, require permit and may not be approved on certain days if the quota exceed. Approval is issued by Sabah Park early one day before entering therefore would not be able to tell in advance. Guest can dive in Sipadan will be charged RM 140 per person for first day and RM500 per extra day, payable at the resort. Sipadan at this present moment only allowed 120 persons per day. SWV hold no responsibility for not being able to dive every day in Sipadan due to conservation done by our Government.
Part 2:
i. DIVING PACKAGE INCLUDED
– Daily 3 boat dives (Except on arrival and NO DIVES on departure day) covering Mabul
Island, Kapalai or Sipadan Island.
– Unlimited Mabul House Reef shore diving from 06:00 AM to 06:00 PM with buddy
– Weight, weight belt and tanks. Unused portion of the dives is not refundable and not transferable.
– Unused portion or dives are not refundable and non-transferable to other.
EXCLUDED
– Scuba diving equipment is NOT included in the package. However guest may rent it at our
dive center.
Please to be advice that our scuba tank is K-valve 12L aluminum tanks. NITROX is available at
RM 35.00 per tank at our Dive center.
ii. NON DIVING PACKAGE/SNORKELING INCLUDED
– Only 1 boat snorkeling trip with equipment is included regardless the duration of stay (Kapalai or Mabul Island depend of dive center arrangement)
– Unlimited house reef snorkeling WITHOUT equipment 0800hrs to 1800 hrs with buddy.
Extra boat snorkeling trip (Kapalai or Sipadan or other part of Mabul Island) is chargeable at
RM 50 per person per trip. This including snorkeling equipment and snorkeling guide)
*Package NOT INCLUDE carbonated and alcohol drinks and any other services outside of SWV package
* Package CANNOT be converted once the guest has arrived at resort.
* RM 150 per dive will be charged if the diver purchases Non Diving packages (with certified diving license) wish to dive during their stay at our resort. Diving equipment is not included in this package
JETTY FEE
Malaysian (Local) – RM 2.00 per person / per trip Adult (with Malaysian Identification).
Child below 11 year old is free of charge
Non Malaysian (Foreigners) – RM 10.00 per person / per trip (with foreign passports).
Child below 11 year old – RM5.00 per person
CORKAGE CHARGE
Guest who brings their own carbonated or alcoholic drinks to the resort will be charged RM80.00 per carton upon arrival regardless the guests drink at their rooms, restaurant or bar.
TRANSFER
Return land and sea transfers for Tawau airport or Tawau/Semporna town area are provided in the package for SAME DAYS of check-in and check-out only

BOOKING CANCELLATION
In the event of cancellation, the following cancellation charges shall apply:
Deposit will be forfeited
Confirmation date to 30 days before arrival 30% of the trip’s full price forfeited
29 to 01 days before arrival 50% of the trip’s full price forfeited
NO SHOW of guest 100% of the trip’s full price forfeited
CONFIRMATION – HOTEL SERVICE VOUCHER
Agent or guest has to acknowledge of the hotel service voucher upon made full payment. Guest has to print out the hotel service voucher and show to the drivers for checking upon arrival.
GUEST DETAILS
We require full name, gender, New IC number/ passport number, date of birth, gender, nationality, contact number and flight details to make necessary arrangement. Please advise if travel other part of Sabah by land to Tawau / Semporna and the estimate time arrival. No reservation is made until we get the confirmations from your side. Please advise all necessary details in order to proceed the reservations and coordinate all arrangement.
HEALTH CONDITION
Guest is requiring going for medical check and making sure in good condition before come to resort for holiday. If guest have health problem before coming to resort can get letter from doctor and send to the resort. We can keep the booking postponed maximum for 1 year.
If there is any emergency happen at resort during the guest stay, resort will give full assistance to the guest. Any costing arriving from the emergency arrangement will be borne by the guest.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
It is strongly recommend all guests to purchase travel insurance before come to resort. Any emergency matter arises, the guest can claim from insurance company. SWV Resort will provide the entire expenses bill to guest for claiming purposes.
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
1. Minimum number of pax required per trip is 2 pax. Single traveler is subjected to coincide with our scheduled transfers.
2. Full payment would be required one month (30 days) before the arrival date. Otherwise, the reservation is subjected to automatic cancellation and will be made available for resale.
3. A deposit, 30% of total payment would be required upon blocking the space or if the date is within one month, full payment would be required. If cancel booking, deposit will be forfeited or non-refundable.
4. Without any deposit, room shall be automatically release if we run of room by the time we have other client requesting the same reserved dates.
5. All USD bank notes starting with CB, DB & DF will not be accepted as legal tender at the resort. As these notes are NOT accepted by our Malaysian banks or money changers.
6. The resort accepts USD, YEN and EURO. Please take note all note have to be in good condition. If there is any tear, dirty like have ink or writing are not acceptable.
7. In case of cancellation, any payment made would not be refundable but is transferable to other dates within one year from the cancellation. All items in the package are non-refundable or transferable.
8. Sipadan Entrance fee is NOT included in the package and is to be paid by the guests at the resort depending on the number of days they are able to enter Sipadan Island.
9. Unused portion of the package is not refundable once tour commenced.
10. Full Names, new IC number , passport number, address, gender, nationality and flight details to be forwarded at least 30 days before the trip dates to facilitate our arrangement.
11. 2 Children under 12 years, rate is considered as one adult to be eligible for FOC for the incentive of 10+1.
12. Package which is sold can be amended before guests arrive to the resort. But once the guests arrived and wish to change the packages, it will be subject to SWV Resort approval.
13. The company shall not be held responsible and reserve the rights to charge the customer / agents for additional costs rendered by any last minute cancellation, delay and changes of arrangement made by customer (Less than 48 hours before arrival time as per schedule).
